About Us

Thank you for a moment to explore Wildlife Welfare Organisation.
Your interest and support mean the world to us as we share our journey of compassion, dedication, and the remarkable stories of wildlife conservation.

our History

Wildlife Welfare Organisation (WWO) was founded in 1984 and implemented a constitution in 1986. This makes WWO one of the oldest wildlife care groups in South Australia.
The organisation was setup to assist with the ever growing number of sick and injured wildlife found on the Fleurieu Peninsula, mostly caused through direct and indirect human interactions.
We can continue this work with funding raised solely from donations, fundraising and through our op shop based in Goolwa and Victor Harbor.
We will take you through a brief history of our 38+ years of activities.
